27 Ranma (transom panel)

Same as previous, but here the carved design is of a carp swimming in a pool of water at the bottom of a waterfall. Same incredible detail and also carved from one thick board of keyaki wood. About the same age, too. One wonders if the two pieces could be the work of the same artisan.
